Export AccountEdge transactions to text files using AppleScript

Usage

• Download the AppleScript.
• Open in Script Editor
• Update the following:
  • path to your Export directory
  • path to AccountEdge application
  • user_name and password_master

General Overview

When run, the script will prompt you for a file to export. It will then open the file and being the export. It will dump out a series of text files in the export directory.

This script is possible because AccountEdge has pretty good AppleScript support, they included some sample scripts, and most importantly, the documentation.
