Description

This project focuses on implementing specific functionalities for buttons in a provided frontend project. The primary objectives include generating a new Solana account and airdropping it, connecting to the Phantom Wallet, and transferring SOL between the created and connected accounts. It is a solution to a Metacraft challenge for Solana module.

Getting Started

Installing

1. Clone the repository using:

  git clone https://github.com/your-username/solana-functionality.git

2. To start the project locally:

     npm install
     npm start

Task Objectives

1. Create a new Solana account:

   • Functionality: Generate a new KeyPair at the backend. Airdrop 2 SOL to the newly created KeyPair.

2. Connect to Phantom Wallet:

   • Functionality: Connect to the Phantom Wallet if it exists.

3. Transfer SOL to New Wallet:

   • Functionality: Trigger a transfer of 1 SOL from the account generated in step 1 to the account connected in step 2.
