Need commercial version of nginx?

I am using version 1.13.5 and I get the following warning and error:

As I understand it, I need a commercial version of nginx to run lancache, right? Or I missed something?

Riot CDN

Having an issue with the Riot CDN, no longer able to cache anything and its pulling directly to the client without being cached server side. Any ideas?

windows 10 downloads more then one time

once the pc is done downloading the update nginx is still downloading files
and it looks like it doing it 3 times 3 diff connections

League of Legends Patch 6.4

Starting with patch 6.4 I have received the message "Unspecified error occurred. Please check logs for more information" when attempting to patch LoL with LANcache.

Removing the line 'address=/l3cdn.riotgames.com/192.168.1.216' from dnsmasq allows me to patch, but I'd rather keep LAN Cache working for LoL as I'm running a 24 person LAN on 2 ADSL lines.

Looking at the patcher logs there is an error that seems to stand out.

failure_identifier: ["E:/jenkins/workspace/rads-code-win-release/code/Solutions/RiotRADS/Source/RADS/LoLPatcherLib/UpdateWorker.cpp|399" (REMOVED - appeared to be a long array of file paths from Riots CI Server - left the first one for reference), for file:'/releases/live/projects/lol_air_client/releases/releaselisting'."]

Running curl l3cdn.riotgames.com/releases/live/projects/lol_air_client/releases/releaselisting appears to return a list of releases in the format 0.0.x.x (starting at 0.0.0.1 and ending at 0.0.1.188). This is returned by curl whether I have the dns redirection in my dnsmasq config or not.

I'm running lancache inside a jail on FreeNAS.

Range_cache module

Hi @liv3d ,

sorry but this is not an issue just a question:

What do u mean by (range_cache module (unreleased watch this space))?

Is range_cache module something in nginx new versions? and u suggest pulling the image on my server using docker or just installing everything as shown in blog?

Use nginx splice module?

Hi,

nginx released a splice module in version 1.10.

It would be more awsome to use the splice module instead the range_cache module, because you can use pre compiled distro packages (ubuntu, fedora, ..).

Did you know, its possible to do this?
