Getting Started

To run this project locally follow these steps from the command line:

1. Clone the repositry

git clone https://github.com/nativesintech/muscogee-creek-dictionary.git

2. Go into directory

cd muscogee-creek-dictionary

3. Install dependencies

yarn install

4. Start the project in development mode

yarn start

Idea: add pgvector extension to provide semantic search capability

I'm not yet fully aware of how this project is implemented, but I think I see it's using postgres for storage.

I'm curious about what potential may exist for using vector-based or semantic search to explore this dictionary.

I expect it would work well(ish) only when searching using English words or phrases.
