Updates

This is now aged a bit. Like fine wine. Please go through the tutorial and update / fix / edit where necessary.

pkgdown website formatting

There seems to be something wrong with how pkgdown formats the code chunks and NEWS pages in the resulting website. 1. The code chunks have ugly double (and sometimes triple) line spaces. 2. All items in the NEWS page get deleted.

I get this problem on all pkgdown websites, so it is probably specific to my local system. However, I have everything updated (see sessioninfo below), including pandoc etc, so can't figure it out.

@jalapic if you have a spare 10 minutes at any point, could you try creating the pkgdown site on the master branch to see if you can reproduce the problem on your machine?

Create pkgdown website:
