lms6002d-docs's Issues

Datasheet 1.2r0: RXTIA is a synonym for RXVGA1

Originally logged by @chemeris : RXTIA is a synonym for RXVGA1. TIA stands for Trans Impedance Amplifier. That was the initial block name but changed later to RX VGA1 for simplicity. "RX TIA" may still be used somewhere in the documents.

Datasheet 1.2r0: LOOPBBEN register is not specified entirely in the documentation

Originally logged by @chemeris : LOOPBBEN register is not specified entirely in the documentation. Check the "LMS6002D IF-RF LoopBack Options.pdf" for a diagram of its connections and the values below for details about controlling it. To use BB loopback you must power down the stage preceding to the one you're connecting loopback to.
LOOPBBEN[1:0]: Baseband loopback switches control
00 – All switches are open (default)
01 – provides TXLPF output to baseband loopback
10 – provides TXVGA1 output to baseband loopback
11 – provides envelop/peak detector output to baseband loopback

Datasheet 1.2r0: "LO Leakage" label

Originally logged by @chemeris: The purpose of the "LO Leakage" label at the "Figure 1: Functional block diagram" is not to show the path of LO leakage. :) Actually it means "LO Leakage Cancellation" and refers to DACs used for that purpose. Refer to the "Calibration and Initialization" section of the datasheet.

preselected RF switch configuration (LMS6002D MyriadRF board)

On page 12 of the MyriadRF Development Kit document (section 3.2, Rev 1.0r4, mod. 3/5/2013), there's a note for the test SMA connectors that says:
"Requires preselected RF switch configuration."

Not sure exactly what this means…

Wondering if this has anything to do with the GPIO table in section 3.7.

I suspect that I'm not getting the kind of output that I expect because I don't' have the "preselected RF switch configuration" set up right.

Does anybody know what this means?
Does anybody know how to set this from the "6002dr2.test" GUI?

Note that I'm using this with a Zipper board.

Thanks in advance..
