ffmpeg-scripts's Issues

chapter-csv doesn't handle quoted field correctly

Thanks for these great scripts! While using chapter-csv, I found that if a chapter title contains comma, the output metadata.txt will not be correct -- all texts after the first comma within the chapter title are all truncated. I looked into the source code. Unfortunately I'm not an expert in awk. Is there any possible fix for this? Thank you so much!

feedback and or bug

Hi,

When I run overlay-pip with
./overlay-pip -i "East Perth Harbour ghosts.mp4" -v Earth720.mp4 -p 2
I get something like the attached file. That is, the overlay is happening twice, with

  1. the correct overlay video, Earth720, appearing on the left instead of as a pip

  2. the 'background' video appearing as pip on the right hand side overlaid on itself.

tile-thumbnails fails on Windows due to the usage of bc in line 138

Hey!

Thanks for your work on these excellent scripts. Unfortunately, I can't bring the tile-thumbnails script to work on Windows, it exits with "line 138: bc: command not found". From what I could gather this could be related to bc requiring commands to be terminated with "\n" and ffprobe on Windows containing CR and LF.
It might be another issue, though, I don't know.

Thanks in advance for looking into this!

Cutting commercials

Good morning Sir, I was wondering what steps should i do with your ffmpeg scripts to cut commercials on my tv shows i recorded awhile back? I'm playing on Ubuntu.

                                                                                                                                    Thank you
