[Level 15] The movement of horse appears random while riding it

In level 15, there is a horse ("Epona") that the player must ride on to complete the level. In 0.1.0, I patched the AI movements so I could control Epona's movement while I am falling at the beginning. However, as seen in the image below, Epona's movement acts wild, even though it was played at a low tick rate with consistent inputs. Given that there were many different outcomes (there are more than the 4 that are shown), I hypothesize that there is some randomness coded within the horse's movement.
