Navbar covering topmost paragraph on mobile devices.

Overlapping of navbar with paragraph heading starts at screenwidth <=1000px.

Adding more padding top for content for smaller devices can help.

Protocol for addressing admin changes

I have previously requested through NAMS following an NTR for the creation of the GitHub team: gesdisc as well as some subsequent repositories (https://github.com/nasa/gesdisc-tutorials). In addition, I have spoken with @frankinspace about becoming a maintainer of: https://github.com/nasa/python_cmr. Two things.

1. I would like to request to be a maintainer of python_cmr
2. I accidentally removed myself as admin of: https://github.com/nasa/gesdisc-tutorials and would like to be reinstated

I have been told to update my initial NAMS request to address both points. I did so for item (1) but there has been no action for months. Is there a more transparent process we can follow (i.e. through using GitHub's Issues)? I also sent an email back in January to the nasa-data email with no reply.

Instructions web page not working

I tried to open the instructions published page didn't work (404 - There isn't a GitHub Pages site here)

Typo in documentation

The file in docs/INSTRUCTIONS.md has a typo on line 89.
It says:
If you would like to use either of these services extensively, please each out to the contact email.
while the correct is:
If you would like to use either of these services extensively, please reach out to the contact email.

Clicking on Instructions in Navabar doesn't directs us exactly to that section

headers & links need re-synced now there is a menu bar that can cover things

Clicking on the "purpose" header brings the purpose section under the menu bar such that it isn't visible.

Instructions should bring up the div above what it brings up now.

Add GitHub to the http://nasa.gov/socialmedia

I think you should add the GitHub account to the social media page so that the people can verify that this GitHub account officially belongs to NASA

hi im bored - SPAM

im bored, how do i score a job at nasa? need something to do, willing to utilize my genius as long as u guys keep me entertained, feed me and offer me free housing....

rn im just wasting my time playing video games and committing federal crime such as tax fraud, mental abuse, posing as federal agent and guiding depressed people into killing themselves.

i also believe i might have couple alphabet boys after me trying to talk to me but as "undercover agents" so far they have gotten no evidence of anything so im still innocent, obviously.

Scrolling behaviour abrupt

When we click on anchor tags on the top left, an abrupt animation follows. This looks odd. It can be tackled by simple code

Remove duplicate information

Is there any need to have the same information in README.md and in index.html? If you want to change anything in the future, you'll need to change both files, and that's a bad practice.

Typo mistake : `meember`

First off. Thanks for all the small pull requests to make the site better!

The instructions for github.com/nasa started off as a simple markdown file. Someone suggested making it into a webpage and contributed the first big upgrade. Many small and medium pull requests followed making it a little better each time. Hopefully it was also good practice for some of you.

There was some concern about it being a website with NASA information without a nasa.gov ending to the URL. Other similar things are explicitly docs for approved open-source code projects. This was documentation for the org account, so somewhat of a gray area. Hence, the instructions for use of github.com/nasa on was shifted to a markdown file that is not a website but rather a file. Apologies to those who submitted pull requests to improve the previous site.

NASA GitHub account description has outdated link to "Open data initiative" page

The description of https://github.com/nasa has a link to not found page: https://www.nasa.gov/open/

NAMS request form can’t be reached

Description

I tried submitting a NAMS collaboration form to find out that the link does not work for some reason. (https://nams.nasa.gov)

A few lines below there is another link that should point to the NAMS request form, but it also does not work. (https://idmax.nasa.gov/nams/asset/227756)

Expected result

I should be navigate to page from where I should be able to fill the NAMS form.

Actual Result

The provided pages cannot be reached.
