Hotkeys [Request]

so a lot of laptops do not have the proper drivers to use the brightness keys because the manufacturers don't support it anymore. So I think that adding customizable hotkeys is some way would be awesome!

Tray Icon

When put in the hidden part of the system tray, the program icon is (almost) invisible, screen:

File version is wrong, it shows 1.2.3.2 in stead of 1.2.4.0.

Question
Does BrightnessTray save any settings? I did not find any in program folder, in AppData and in Windows Registry.

On first run BrightnessTray crashed. I can provide the DUMP files (.dmp) if needed,

Menu update

Change "Turn off Monitor" to the "Brightness profiles"
And add ability to edit brightness profiles (on notebooks)
So, the users can choose which brightness it will have in different battery states (Charging, Battery, Battery low)

In case it's a desktop pc, you can cut this ability to specify auto-brightness option (In some computers - Monoblocks, Docks and some notebooks this future is well supported, so it will be useful) and screen sleep timeout

[Suggestion] Multilanguage support

Fn Key Repeater

This is not exactly issue, it's a little request for new feature.

This app works great on many laptops, but a lot of laptops with new Windows doesn't release updated drivers for function keys. But the fastest way to change brightness is this.

Is it possible to create a mechanism that listen functions keys (for most laptops Fn+F5, Fn+F6) to recreate this feature. You can also to create a form to choose manually functions keys that set brightness up and down.

Localization

I am saddened that the program is in English only.
I suggest to localize the program.
I am ready to assist in the translation into Russian.
(For example, you can use the service Crowdin or any other. Crowdin is free for Open source projects.)

Feautre request: brightness level in tray icon and slider

Hi this is exactly what I was looking for. Simple, clean and touch friendly.

Would it be possible to have an option to show the brightness level in the tray icon and in the slider panel? This would be incredibly useful so as to a) see the current brightness at a glance b) see what percent you are changing to.

If the brightness is changed too quickly by hotkeys, BrightnessTray crashes.

Brightness Stuck / Misspelling

Running Windows 10 build 15063.413. Currently testing on a Surface Pro (2017) with a Type Cover. While the program is running, if I try and change the brightness level using the brightness keys on the Type Cover or in the Action Center, the brightness level will be stuck at 6%. I have to close the program to change the brightness level above 6%. Brightness change does work using the slider in BrightnessTray.

Also, little side note. Caffeine is misspelled as Caffiene in the context menu and in the source code.

Random crashing when logging off from Windows
