dctf's Issues

Build issue with zip causing conditional success

for root, dirs, files in os.walk('.'):
	dirs[:] = [d for d in dirs if d not in default]
	break

for item in zip(chall_info, dirs):

The challenge info list will be in a random order causing occasional success.

Use -q options for docker or docker inspect

The output of the docker command are not designed to be scriptable/machine readable. Using the -q option or docker inspect will be less likely to encounter weird errors.

Prefer ConfigParser.get() to a for loop

ConfigParser allows for a .get() method which allow you to specify a default if a value does not exist. This could be used to clean up lines 38 and following in ctf.py removing the forloop

Look into logging/helpful output

Currently only minimal output is provided and that's in the form of docker itself and the little output that ./scripts/gen.sh provides.

Consider pathlib

DCTF/ctf.py

Line 51 in 131832a

def getINIList():

This could be written as:

from  pathlib import Path
defaults = set([“.git”, “skel”])
return (p for p in Path.cwd().glob(“**/config.ini) if not defaults & set(p.parts))
