it would be nice to have a repost option instead of having to download a separate android app for that...

have the ability to see photos where people are tagged

on instagram when you enter a profile you have the ability to see uploaded photos from user and photos on which they are tagged on...it would be nice to have that feature on prostogram too...

folling/followers are not working

as the title said there is a pulley for seeing followers and who we follow but after we enter that menù there is only the loading circle spinning forever...

uploading a photo result in a cropped photo

if you upload a photo through prostogram your photo will be automatically cropped at the bottom and there will be a black bar on the top...so atm it's impossible to upload photos with prostogram

A few years ago, Instagram integrated ads. And these ads are showing in our feeds to try to sell us something :) And these Instagram ad posts reduce enjoyment of real Instagram posts. It would be nice to have an ad blocking feature.

I don't think there is an option for this directly in Instagram API. But I guess it can be done in some way: Only the posts of followers can be shown in feed and other posts which are just advertisements can be filtered and discarded.

I do not know if this is against the terms of use of the API. Although it may not be a default feature, it may be a hidden feature :)

scroll main window

Scroll into the main window seems not always correct getting some strange bar what is comming up.

Can't send screenshots

I can't send screenshots (I guess, that's also true for any vertical pictures with 16:9 or similar aspect ratio) from your app. The 'send' button appears to be out of the screen space and I can't scroll to reach it.

Also, liking photos by double tapping on them would be nice :)

user search is broken

as the title says search for tag is correctly working, while search for users is broken...don't know anyway if you already know about that and the user search is just a place holder for the meantime...

profile page not working

user profile page is set as private even if the profile is set as public and it's completely not working with the circle always spinning

entering an user feed hang the application

as the title says, if you enter a user feed you can correctly see all of it's photos, but if you exit then the app will hang popping up the usual wait or close selector...

I can not see any comment, also i can not write any comments enter key on the command dont work.

Lag then crash after upload photo

After upload photo, I found that:

The self profile show empty
Lag then crashed, finally closed

Separate translation string

Hi,
You need separate translation strings for the below shown translation strings. In many languages they are different words/sentences.
I suggest you name them "Login name" and "Login" or similar.

messages are just placeholders

as the title say i can open the messages part of the app and see who wrote me but i cannot open any of the messages...

Saved posts support

It would be nice to have support for saving posts and seeing saved posts.

video play only work when inside profile page feed

as the title says video play only work if you enter a profile page and then in the feed view...if you are in the general feed then tap a video, the specific page for the video opens but you can't play it

Name Change?

I read this[1] and it makes me sad. I use Instagram actively and it is very useful to have a client in Sailfish.

Here[2] is Instagram Platform Policy:

Instagram users own their media. It's your responsibility to make sure that you respect that right.
You cannot use "insta", "gram" or "Instagram" in your company or product name.
You cannot replicate the core user experience of the Instagram apps or web site. For example, do not build a media viewer.
You cannot use the API Platform to crawl or store users' media without their express consent.
Do not abuse the API Platform, automate requests, or encourage unauthentic behavior. This will get your access turned off.

Looks like we do not meet the naming standards. Maybe if we change the name and investigate other conditions, we can put things in the way.

Unable to start app after changing password on web

I changed the password on my Instagram account (using the webpage) and now Prostogram only says Login fail.
Tried reinstalling but it still has the config somewhere.

When i like a photo then i see every foto's is liked...

can't upload photos in portrait mode

i can't upload photos in portrait mode cause the photo takes all the screen and there is no send button...

portrait photos are sent landscaped

when i upload a photo in portrait it automatically gets rotated to landscape and there's no way to change this...it should have at least a way to rotate the photo :)

when click user icon

When click on the user icon, the only thin is see is a spinning circle. nothing else

Instagram recently added a Snapchat-like temporary/vanishing photo sharing feature. It would be nice to have this feature.

as the title says it would be nice to zoom photos...

What do you think about rewriting whole instagram api to JavaScript?
i think it will reduce crashes and request can be easier to debug and manage. what do you thing about it?

can't see stories

support videos and videos uploading

as of now prostogram supports only photos...it would be nice to have video supported as of now are only shown as photos and upload is not supported :)

Explore Tab

There is a Search & Explore tab in the original Instagram application. On Search & Explore you can find photos and videos that you might like from accounts you don't yet follow.

Search & Explore posts are selected automatically based on things like the people you follow or the posts you like.

add a progress bar while uploading

while uploading a photo only a circle spinning is showed, so lot of people have the impression uploading is not working...you should add a progess bar so it will be esier to know the current upload status...

you can't see likes

there is no notification in general so you don't know if someome followed you or liled your photos...you can only see numer of likes when you open the photo but anyway this is not clickable so you don't know who's liked your post

the pulley menu is really too long

the pulley menu from the main screen is really too long...you could for example remove the logout option since it's already on the setting screen, the you could move the about section into the settings and the upload section in the my feed pulley...resulting in a more clean app :)
