nerdpie.github.io's Issues

MC Mods

General list of MC mods that I want to make:

  • NerdCraft Defaults - Try to automatically apply my defaults to any pack, and remind me if mods that I prefer are missing, such as InGameInfo
  • git4forge - MC git integration, intended for server and client; track config changes and a list of mods (will require mod meta parsing to detect versions, and a hash for mod updates that don't bump versions; also need to handle configs that "update" on load without functional changes, and configs with nondeterministic orders). For server use, needs to provide git commands in-game

GitHub Integrations

Do we want any GitHub integrations, such as bots?

I can also set up GitLab to serve as a CI/CD provider if we want more extensive processing than GitHub provides.

... if I had a host for it, we could even set up PhantomBot to have an integration where viewers could directly suggest mods, and it would translate the suggestions to a GitHub issue...

Stream Tools

Tools that I want/need for streaming:

  • Elgato or similar capture card
  • Better mic
  • *nix compatible face-rig
  • More screens
  • Unified UI for OBS, Discord, Twitch dashboard, and game console/logs (PhantomBot would help here, I believe)

Stream Minecraft Modpacks/Maps

This issue will serve as a living document for stream modpacks, including suggestions on what to play. Other games, such as Terraria and Factorio, may get similar entries.

Any reference to NerdCraft (NC) or unnamed packs refers to custom, unpublished packs.

Suggested/Considering:

  • NerdCraft Skies (More specifically, I want to revisit the pack, then try and make a new version)
  • Unnamed pack - Start off nearly vanilla, then add mods based on suggestions
  • NC Overload
  • NC Future
  • NC Skyblock
  • Unnamed NC pack for 1.8-1.9
  • All The Mods 4
  • AstroBlock
  • Break Out
  • Chemical Exchange
  • CrackPack 3
  • Craft of Titans
  • DevCraft 7
  • Diversity 3 (map)
  • Dungeons, Dragons, and Space Shuttles
  • Engineer's Life
  • FTB Interactions
  • Glacial Awakening
  • Janky Skyblock
  • Material Energy (series) - Search for 'parcel31u'
  • Mystical Skies
  • Omnifactory
  • Project Equivalence
  • Rise of Minecraft
  • RL Craft - Interested in some of the content, buuttt.... Lycanite's...
  • Roguelike Adventures and Dungeons
  • Seablock: Rustic Waters
  • Serious Engineering
  • SevTech: Ages
  • Sky Factory 4
  • Ultimate Alchemy
  • Volcano Block

'Where Was I?' (May have started, but don't recall):

  • FTB Continuum
  • FTB Horizons III
  • Dw20 1.12
  • Stoneblock 2
  • FTB Pyramid Reborn

In Progress:

  • Enigmatica 2: Expert
  • FTB Revelation
  • FTB Sky Adventures
  • Project Ozone 3

'Completed':

  • NerdCraft Insanity
  • Modern Skyblock 3
  • StoneBlock

E2E RecipeBook for Milo

image

kepler will be adding a machine flag to the recipe book 'soonish', to account for machine recipes.

Additionally, look into making a tool to parse ZenScript for recipes.

Default settings repo

In short, set up a repository for my personal default settings, where practical (e.g. I'm not handling passwords!). May have to use GitLab for a private repo (TODO: Review GitHub plans).

Settings to include:

  • Salt configs for my typical setup
  • Aliases for git
    • For example, define an alias to delete branches in one command - git push origin --delete {branch} && git brand -d -r {branch}

Stream Games

Similar to #7, this issue will be a living document, dedicated to tracking games that catch my eye, viewers suggest, etc.

Suggested/Considering :

  • Anything KoS plays
  • Some things DangerouslyFunny plays
  • Survival Vacancy
  • Autonauts
  • Stardew Valley
  • Dungreed
  • Undermine
  • Little Big Workshop
  • Forager
  • Various games in my Steam wishlist (I largely abuse the 'wishlist' as a 'look at later list'...)

Currently avoiding (and reasoning):

  • Anything that requires the Epic Store ; I haven't researched in-depth, but I haven't heard good things about the platform.
  • Anything that requires Easy Anti Cheat, (aka Lazy Anti Cheat); so help me, if someone wants to install a glorified rootkit...
  • Anything that requires VR ; I don't have the money for a proper VR rig (nor a good place to use it...), and the Cardboard-compatible headset that I do have doesn't let my right eye focus properly...
  • Anything that needs Android; I REALLY want to stream some Android games, but I haven't pegged down HOW I want to do so.

Played/Playing -- Note: This category will be further broken down in time between games that I have completed but may replay, 'one-and-done' games, etc.

  • Minecraft
  • Terraria
  • Factorio
  • Neptunia series (some games are currently unplayable under Proton, and will need an apt-get dist-upgrade to work; outdated graphics driver preventing DX11)
  • Monster Super League - Android game, streamed in the past; great graphics, but it gets a bit grindy
  • Gumballs and Dungeons - Great production value, responsive devs, many Easter eggs. Let's put it this way: I paid money for in-game currency.
  • Half-Life series
  • Portal series
  • CrossCode
  • StarMade
  • Starbound
  • Slime Rancher
  • Spiral Knights
  • A.R.E.S.
  • Blade Kitten
  • Borderlands series
  • Audiosurf
  • FortressCraft Evolved
  • Hack n Slash
  • Hard Reset
  • Mirror's Edge
  • Ninja Blade
  • Myst series
  • Space Engineers
  • Left 4 Dead
  • Assorted games from a cheap bundle
  • Assorted F2P games
