Hi,
thanks for your nice tool. I am trying to test a webpage on this and I discovered a problem, which may need a solution:
OK:
In my stylesheet I have defined media @media screen and (max-width: 800px)
So I assume, these styles are executed, when I select the Tablet-Size of 800px in responsivetest. But they havent been executed.
I had a look into the tool and saw, that the div#iframe, in which the Iframe is shown is not 800px but 815px.
Via console, I found out that div#iframe.innerWidth is 813px. And also the #iframe > iframe has 813px.
I thought, maybe this is, because you add the scrollbar to the size or something, but anyway, my styles max-width:800px doesnt work.
I tested in Firefox and Chrome.
First time, I post on github. I hope, this is the right location for reporting this issue. Maybe I am doing something wrong, but I don't understand this.
Thanks a lot.
Once I resize the iframe, it will be resized whenever moving the mouse. So I cannot move the mouse of of the iframe to do other tasks such as choose other device, change the URL, etc.
So user can click on the top menu if there is
Since we use Bootstrap 3, use col-lg-6 col-lg-offset-3
instead of col-lg-6 col-offset-3
Project's description ends with: "please Star_t_ it" which should be spelled "Please Star it". Minor detail, but if it were me I'd still want to know.
I'm trying use responsivetest with a local url (http://supertestes.dev).
I'm using a local server (started with python -m SimpleHTTPServer 10000), my url is: http://localhost:10000/#u=http://supertestes.dev/|1024|768|1
Is there some problem with local address?
Please notice that this Font Awesome version removes IE 7 support
Hi guys,
First of all thank you so much for this product. It is exactly what i've been looking for :)
I've downloaded the app and installed it using IIS. So I have a directory setup under inetpub etc. Then I created a an application under my default web site.
Problem is, my icons which allow me to change the device isn't showing up. I can change the screen dimensions using the x/y text boxes, but the other buttons just isn't showing :/
Look at http://url-cap.com
When you initially load a url like http://responsivetest.net/#u=scrumpoker.online/#/session/63|845|898|1 that uses Angular HashTag routing it works fine. But when I then use the text box to enter different sessions ids like 62 or 64 the white overlay appears and won't go away even if the page was succesfully loaded in the background.
I try to access yahoo.com on http://responsivetest.net/#u=yahoo.com|1024|768|1 and it doesn't load the page - do you know why that might be happening.
Same for united.com - http://responsivetest.net/#u=united.com|1024|768|1
In the devices menu there are measurements in inches (e.g. iPhone 3.5", iPhone 4"). This doesn't say anything to people who use the metric system or don't know the mobile phone types.
I would suggest to put the resolution there, so you'll have an idea what you're actually going to see when you press the link.
You are calculating only the (physical) Width of the supported devices.
What is by far more interesting is the device-width.
For example: Iphone 4+ has a screen width of 640px but 200% pixel density. So the real device-width is just 320px;
