I've just noticed it.
I think it's a bug on the OS...
I've reported about it here:
https://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=225234
Would either of these be reasonable to add to this project? I must still go and manually disable these two scales when doing certain espresso tests, and as they are directly next to the Animator duration scale it defeats the purpose of providing quick access.
Do we have those features:
could you upload correct APK?
That renders the whole git repository useless... Or at least hard to work with.
And a shame... This is a very nice and useful animation!
Examples:
"Profile GPU rendering"
"show CPU usage"
"debug GPU overdraw"
"show layout bounds"
"pointer location"
"demo mode"
"take bug report"
?
I got this exception :

It's a bit rare, but it happens.
Can it also hide the potential ones?
By specifying the action android.service.quicksettings.action.QS_TILE_PREFERENCES
in an activity <intent-filter>
, long-pressing on tiles from that app will launch that activity. In this case, that could be an invisible activity that hosts a dialog (or just is itself themed like a dialog) which allows the granular configuring of the duration. This should obviate the need for two separate tiles.
Thanks for the great work on this quick settings tile @nickbutcher. Will save a lot of settings navigation for my testing :) I was thinking of creating something similar for the "don't keep activities"-setting.
Would you be interested in extending your current "app" with such a feature (meaning I'd PR the new feature into this repo) or would you recommend to fork and/or create a new repo targeted solely at the "don't keep activities" setting?
