Personal NeoVim

Been using NeoVim as my primary coding environment for a few weeks now and really like it.

Based on KickStart Nvim

That should probably be anyone's starting point as this configuration is tailored to my preferences. Storing on github to have issue tracking and a configuration backup.

TypeScript Issues With Default LSP

Describe the bug

Kickstart Nvim default LSP configuration doesn't have great TypeScript support. For the last couple of weeks, been seeing unusual bugs with TypeScript:

  • Imports not working
  • Unpredictable linting

The default LSP is so bad that I'm willing to try out this experimental alternative: https://github.com/pmizio/typescript-tools.nvim

This will track setting it up and we'll see how it goes.

I really don't mind the IntelliSense not working as well, really comfortable with TypeScript. However the broken linting is really annoying to deal with.

Another promising alternative is conform: https://github.com/stevearc/conform.nvim

  1. Write any TypeScript 😅
