quickshell's Issues

When executing lines, also execute necessary imports

One of the most useful feature in Eclipse is that it imports necessary things for you. However when executing lines the imports are not transferred to jshell. It would be useful to have functionality that takes necessary imports to jshell when executing a line.

New QuickShell terminal unusable

This is probably a configuration problem but I can't figure out where it is. When I start a new jshell instance, it looks like this and anything I type is not shown:
Screen Shot 2022-07-01 at 22 24 41
If I hit enter a bunch of times:
Screen Shot 2022-07-01 at 22 24 54
But it does run the code I type in, I just can't see anything:

If I start Eclipse with this terminal open, it becomes usable:

Any idea?

Linux support

Does this plugin support linux? And if no do you take a PR for this feature?

Start JShell in Eclipse Terminal Not working!

Terminal tab appear but did not connect to JShell - [JShell console like you show did not display... just blank tab]
[ OS: Windows 10 ]
[ Eclipse Platform - try both JShell.exe of jdk-9.0.4 and jdk-12.0.1 ==> still not working
Version: 2019-12 (4.14)

Quick Shell Configuration problem

I've followed the directions on GitHub to install the Quick Shell plugin. The plugin seems to have installed correctly and I was able to configure it according to the directions on GitHub. If I highlight a piece of java code and right click the drop down appears and I select run as Jshell script I Get the following error :

Can't execute script C:\Users\sesch\eclipse\java-2022-12\eclipse.QuickShellTempDir\JShellScript.jsh (The system cannot find the path specified)

Can anyone assist me with a solution or a link to a KB article?
Thanks
