server name and root for reverse proxy

Hi,
I am trying to set up a reverse proxy on a freebsd to serve traffic to multiple jails. From your example is not clear , in the reverse proxy nginx conf what root and server_name should I use as far I do not setup an application in this jail, but only a reverse proxy. All the other domains and apps are in different jails with their own nginx server. Thanks for making it clear. Or what you mean is, if I setup a nginx reverse proxy in jail1, for example, and site-a and site-b in jail-a and jail-b, should I not install nginx in each jail but only use the reverse proxy nginx with server directives for each jail?
