An option for custom backgrounds can be added in the kanban boards component. It will have to be stored in the database along with the project.

Enable OAuth for different providers

Firebase provides a lot of options for OAuth. OAuth provides a much better UX than having to create a new password every time.

E2E Tests

E2E tests have to be written for the project. Using Cypress instead of Protractor would be a better choice.
