Issue with Ubuntu

I found that it is not working with Ubuntu unless you right click on the pop-up page. If you close it and want to reopen it, it will be shown in a with pop up again.

Show wrong response code 301

I'm using Windows version and when i request and URL that use a 301 redirect this addon show the response as 200 instead 301.

Not tested with other redirection codes like 302.

New Feature - Include URLs

Hallo Nitrama,

ich hätte eventuell noch ein Vorschlag für eine Erweiterung der Plugins.
Es wäre auch nicht schlecht wenn man in den Einstellungen bestimmte URLs definieren könnte welche angezeigt werden sollen und der Rest nicht.

Beispielweise könnte man sagen zeige mir nur alles mit: "http://google.de"

Save to file doesn't work on FF 72.0.1

When I capture the network and then click on the button save, no file is downloaded...

Ability to show the main window as a sidebar panel

It would be great to be able to show the HTTP-Header-Live Main as a sidebar panel.
It would also avoid the need for a toolbar button.

Headers nicht vollständig

Hallo Martin,

vielen Dank für das tolle Plugin welches mit Firefox 57 schon recht gut funktioniert.
Leider scheint es als würde das Plugin nicht alle Headers aufzeichnen.

Beispiel:
Folgende URL: "https://goo.gl/WMR9Ce" sollte: "http://track.webgains.com/click.html?wgcampaignid=1236655&wgprogramid=11079&wgtarget=www.gearbest.com/laptops/pp_786412.html" aufrufen.

Die track.webgains.com URL setzt folgende Parameter: "siteid=1236655&utm_source=webgains&utm_campaign=GearbestDE" welche in der folge URL vorhanden sind: "https://www.gearbest.com/?siteid=1236655&utm_source=webgains&utm_campaign=GearbestDE" jedoch nicht der eigentlich Aufruf in den Headers: http://track.webgains.com/click.html?wgcampaignid=1236655&wgprogramid=11079&wgtarget=www.gearbest.com/laptops/pp_786412.html".

Kurz: "http://track.webgains.com/click.html?wgcampaignid=1236655&wgprogramid=11079&wgtarget=www.gearbest.com/laptops/pp_786412.html" ist in den Headers nicht zu finden.

Getestet habe ich das unter Windows 10 - 1709, Firefox 57.0.3 (64-Bit).
Ein anderes Plugin: "https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/addon/live-http-headers/" zeigt alles korrekt in Firefox 56 an.

Liegt es am Plugin oder blockiert hier Firefox 57 etwas?

Über dein Feedback freue ich mich sehr.

Feature - Ignore filters

Hallo Nitrama,

ich hätte noch eine weitere Idee welches auf das bereits gelöste Ticket: "https://github.com/Nitrama/HTTP-Header-Live/issues/" aufbaut.

Wenn man eine Whitelist URL hinzufügt bekommt man auch nur diese ausgespielt, sprich nur die Daten die interessant sind. Nun kommt es doch selten vor das man wissen möchte was sonst noch ausgelöst wurde. Hier muss man dann alle Whitelist URLs entfernen und die Seite neu laden und anschließend alle Whitelist URLs manuell eintragen.

Ein Button "Ignore all Filters" oder "Show All" wäre hier perfekt.
Somit könnte jeder Filter setzen aber sich bei bedarf alles anzeigen lassen. ;)

Adding Language

I added support for different languages.

But I need help to support as many languages as possible.

If somebody knows a language well or has improvements for an existing language please just let me know.

New languages will be released with the next addon version.

HTTP-Header-Live does not work with FF 66.0.2

Since I updated my Firefox to 66.0.2, HTTP-Header-Live does not work anymore.
Please fix this - I really like this Add-On

Improvement idea: displaying HTTP Body too

As an improvement, it would be very good if this plugin would show not just the headers but also the body of the HTTP messages.

I am training students on creating web-applications, and there is no such plugin available which would display the complete raw HTTP messages in a clear and easy-to-overview way. (Dev.Toolbar supports it, but with a lot of clicking here and there, which confuses the students)
If you could improve the plugin in this direction, that would be awesome!

Persist `autoscroll` option.

Hi, you have a really useful plugin but it's very inconvenient each time to turn-off autoscroll.
I often try to debug page redirects using HTTP-Header-Live but if autoscroll is turned on after each page reload I have to scroll to the top to see the actual redirect and statuses and having tons of useless images, css file logs right under the really valuable info about actual page redirects. And each time I have to not forget to uncheck autoscroll option.
(Actually not after page reload but when I close-reopen Http-Header-Live window)
Would be great to have an ability to set this option state by default.

Datei ausgabe nicht in der selben reihenfolge wie ausgabe

mir wurde gerade zugetragen das in der Datei ausgabe nicht die Selbe reihen folge ist wie im Fenster.

Ich weiß auch schon an was es liegt. Da ich aber gerade keine Ahnung habe werde ich es erstmal nach hinten verschieben. Sobalb mir was einfällt werde ich es korrigieren.

Plugin does not seem to display Kerberos round trips

Thanks a lot for the very useful add-on.

Anyhow it does not seem to display Kerberos round trips.
This is very confusing while trying to debug Kerberos authentications.

Using a proxy I found a request to an IWA protected resource was first rejected by the server with HTTP code 401 and then was delivered with HTTP code 200 after the Kerberos round trip.

The add-on window only gave me the second request/response.
And even with this it omitted the "Authorization: Negotiate xxxxxxxxxxxx" header (which I found in the proxy).

Maybe Firefox hides this information from plugins, so it may not be the add-ons's fault...

And one more suggestion:
The HTTP response code should IMHO be displayed together with the response headers, not above the request header.

POST Data and percent coding

The displayed POST is not raw, since it seems that individual parts are not percent coded (ex,
&//CDSportal=http://cdsportal.u-strasbg.fr/StoreVizierData.html instead of
&%2F%2FCDSportal=http%3A%2F%2Fcdsportal.u-strasbg.fr%2FStoreVizierData.html )

So you cannot copy and paste POST data, and then slightly modify and use it. It would be nice to have that option.

POST request payload is not always displayed.

When the POST request has Content-Type: application/x-www-form-urlencoded, then the payload of the POST request is displayed just fine. However, when POST request has Content-Type: application/json , nothing is displayed, and that's really sad because I'm trying to debug a JSON app. 😢

I think the problem is right here: JSON in requestBody does not have any formData, and as such, this loop is not executing at all.

button "file save" does nothing

I recorded a web surfing session and was hopping to be able to save the record but button "file save" seems to do nothing. Do I miss something ?

Clicking the window anywhere opens a new window

When a header display window is open and I click anywhere within the window, a new header display window is opened.

Also, when the header window is first opened, it does not display anything at all until I resize it, not even the control bar at the bottom.

"Send" does not send

Forms not displayed corectly on Ubuntu 16

The buttons and windows simply are empty on Ubuntu 16 with Firefox Quantum installed!

I have to blindly click on that button in order to view content.

The main window was also empty, I just clicked random to open replay window.

there is a bug with Firefox Quantum 60.0.2 (64bit)
Once installed, the plugin opens a side window (either left or right side).
If you close it, when you click on the tiny icon instead of reopen the side window it opens a new window which is completely blank

I tried to add your extension for Firefox version 60 on Ubuntu 16.04.
I open the extension in the sidebar. When I click one HTTP packet, a pop-up window comes up, but the window is blank. I have to maximize the window to see the HTTP details. Can you please fix the blank window so that it also shows the content without being maximized ?

It should start like this:

Sometimes it's important to see whether GET or POST was used or which HTTP version, therefore it is pretty important this isn't shortened.

Github tab opens every time I launch my browser

I'd like to be able to use the 'HTTP-Header-Live' plugin for Firefox without having a tab to the "https://github.com/Nitrama/HTTP-Header-Live" page open every time I open my browser.

How do I make this stop?

This is like being spammed every time I open my browser. There does not appear to be a way to change this behavior through Firefox's settings.

I like to start off by thanking you for taking over the project. However, this extension has one single draw back, can I pin the feed to a tab? Showing traffic for every tab that's open, make it's it very difficult for me to diagnose issues ?
