The Wii U Channel Version is not yet available, despite listed in "INSTALLATION AND USE".
Would it be possible to add support for it? It'd be cool to play with a decent controller (looking at you, CC).
where are the commits for all the changes of release v4.9.0? i realize i can just check snes9xgx but i believe you should still include those commits in your fork as well.

Hello, as the title says the latest version hangs when you navigate fast in the game (roms) menu (Holding down any of the dpad buttons) after this the app resets and returns directly to the main menu of the console, This happens with boxarts display enabled in Wii and vWii
Is keeping GX on the name required for something? I think it might confuse some people!
When loading the Gamecube version Snes9xRX-5.4.0-GCN.zip of the emulator via Swiss on SD2SP2 (including the roms on the SD card), the emulator boots to a "Loading DVD..." message and hangs there. There doesn't seem to be a way to continue.
Same test with Snes9xGX Snes9xGX-4.5.3-GameCube.zip (https://github.com/dborth/snes9xgx/releases) did not show "Loading DVD..." message and went successfully to the SD card roms folder. The emulator worked as expected.

Do you plan to support external font loading for 2 bytes chracter, same as WiiMC?

USB versions of the SNES controller being so widely available it would be nice to be able to use one, like how you can use the xbox 360 (wired) already.
When using a wired Dualshock 3, that one controller affects all the virtual SNES controllers, making "drop-in multiplayer" games like Kirby Super Star/Fun Pak unplayable.
I understand PS2 controller is not mentioned in readme, and per my testing it doesn't work. However, I happen to read from a Priiloader discussion that it actually works with some minor issues.
As it works great in Nintendont (rumble works fine and it supports 2 PS2 controllers), it would be awesome if it's usable in Snes9xRX. Is this possible?
BTW, there's an update to make PSX2USB adapter support 2 PS2 controllers properly. Not sure if it's related with the weird frame skipping error you mentioned. See the following links for details.

I use last version 4.7.0.It hangs with a black screen on the start screen after pressing the start of the game, or after the screen with the name of the level, also when you change the options. Sometimes after a reset in the emulator, it starts.

Hello, how are you ? congratulations for your work, this emulator is very good. but to make it better, I have two suggestions: add support for pc and ps2 control (in the case with an adapter), as well as support in nintendont.
another suggestion would be wireless controller (xbox360, ps3 and ps2 too).
if possible, that would be great. and again, congratulations for the beautiful work on this emulator.

Would it be possible to have a setting that autoboots a game and loads the latest save state?
See, I would want to power on my jailbroken wii and when it starts autoboot in to Snes9xRX (this is already done with priiloader). When Snes9xRX starts i want the game to load up and start at my latest save... By doing this i can start my wii and be in a game of choose within seconds no messing with menus.. Would be so cool.

HI, i have a problem, when i put the new Killer instinct MSU-1 on the emulator on the Wii, at first the FPS are fine when the menu starts, but when the characters are making any action(even selecting them), the frame rate were dropping from 60 to 20 and its lagging with inestable FPS, can you make something to improved the emulation?

Please mention in the insallation guide for inexperienced users that you have to copy a SNES9XRX skin version into the "apps" folder before the installation of the WiiU Forwarder.
Saving Game Snapshots slows down app to a points it freezes
A certain amount of saves is needed, more than 4 in a row. First, the save screen starts to take longer times before it can show any option, from a few milliseconds to seconds. Then, it simply shows nothing. Wiimote still works, but home button doesn't show the menu. I waited around five minutes before reset.

I tried to connect a Retroflag SNES USB controller to the Wii to see if it would work with Snes9x RX. When the controller is set to Dinput it doesn't work, as expected. But what's odd is that when the controller is set to Xinput mode it doesn't register any input, even though it's detected as an Xbox 360 controller (Snes9x RX about windows shos it's connected).
Once I enter the Snes9xRX emulator and synchronize the Wii U Pro Controller it works correctly, but it is always set as a second controller and I can not get it to be set as the primary controller, this way I can not play SNES games as I would like, if someone could tell me how to do it I would be very grateful. someone could tell me how to do it I would be very grateful.
The Wii Remote and analog stick mouse controls kind of hit and miss at best in Snes9x RX (and in Snes9x GX before it), with games like Mario & Wario being essentially unplayable as the cursor just refuses to go to certain parts of the screen, etc. This probably rises to the level of being a bug in its own right which might warrant a separate issue.
However, what I'd personally like to see even more than fixed Wiimote/analog stick mouse emulation is actual USB HID mouse support, so users can just plug any old USB mouse into the Wii (U) and play these games as they were intended. The IR pointers and analog sticks are just bad approximations of mice in general. They're a nice convenience when they work, but supporting real mice would be even better.
