Tijar

Overview

Tijar is a React project that provides a platform for managing product categories and products. This README provides instructions on how to set up the development environment, run the project locally, and deploy it to Firebase.

Getting Started

Prerequisites

Make sure you have the following installed on your machine:

  • Node.js (version 14 or above)
  • npm (version 6 or above)
  • Firebase CLI

Installation

  1. Clone the repository:

    git clone https://github.com/your-username/tijar.git
    cd tijar
  2. Install the dependencies:

    npm install

Running Locally

  1. Start the development server:

    npm start

    The application should now be running on http://localhost:3000.

Environment Variables

To run this project, you will need to add the following environment variables to your .env file:

  • REACT_APP_FIREBASE_API_KEY
  • REACT_APP_FIREBASE_AUTH_DOMAIN
  • REACT_APP_FIREBASE_PROJECT_ID
  • REACT_APP_FIREBASE_STORAGE_BUCKET
  • REACT_APP_FIREBASE_MESSAGING_SENDER_ID
  • REACT_APP_FIREBASE_APP_ID
  • REACT_APP_FIREBASE_MEASUREMENT_ID

Deployment

Firebase Setup

  1. Install Firebase CLI if you haven't already:

    npm install -g firebase-tools
  2. Login to Firebase:

    firebase login
  3. Initialize Firebase in your project directory:

    firebase init

Deploying to Firebase

  1. Build the project:

    npm run build
  2. Deploy to Firebase:

    firebase deploy
