broken since WC3:1.30.2

Greetings - since Blizzard patched Warcraft3 to 1.30.2 (and upgraded their servers aftwards [1]), it is not possible to log in anymore. The message given is: Old version (W3XP_IX86_1.30.2.11024.mpq).

Any chance to fix this? Or is it an issue with the login servers and not in the scope of this plugin? Thanks in advance.

after install the plugin still doesnt show up

i use lubuntu 18.04 LTS 32bit
use pidgin 2.12.0
after i finish installation step by step and get icon too, the plugin/protocol pidgin-libbnet still still doesn't show up. how to fix this?

Exe is not compatible

First off, does this still get worked on? Latest commit a year ago...
Anyway. If you're still hanging around, help out a brain-addled overtired guy and answer this riddle: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit is complaining the exe is not compatible with it, re 32/64. I'm grabbing links to the exe (such as in the how-to) and going right-click -> save. Is this wrong? I can't find any other way of downloading from github.
