You are right. I verified this by executing Boost performance task in DELL SupportAssist for Home PCs in 4.0.2 version. After task is finished session is gone.

Do you have a Dell computer? If so, Dell is deleting your Notepad++ session.xml file.

@tomasztarczynski The developer of Notepad++ has reached out to Dell about their bug, but you might want to do this too -- if this isn't fixed (by Dell), your session is just going to keep getting deleted!

I'm afread it'll happen to you over and over again if Dell doesn't fix their bug of SuppotASSist which deletes other applications' data blindly.

At the moment, the only thing that can possibly "fix" the issue is to disable the boost in the schedule (as per screenshot), although that won't prevent it from doing the same if you run the boost/optimization manually (like you did).
