🔗 Adding a link

All links will show up here. To add a link, you can either message me on reddit (u/themindstorm), or create an issue/pull request here if you have the technical knowledge.

All guides go in content/index.md, in the markdown links format. For example, if I want to add the website "https://www.example.com" under the category "General", sub-category "Free time", I will do it like so:

All guides show up All links will show up here. If you do not know you to use Git/GitHub and markdown, you can message me on Reddit here. Any information in the guide must be non-confidential.

First, look for your category in siteConfig.yml. Each category has a name and slug. If the category is not there, add it like so:

The slug should be the slugified name. See these examples:

• "BMT" -> "bmt"
• "Vocation" -> "vocation"
• "Intersting discussions" -> "intersting-discussions"

Leave pages empty for now, we will fill it later.

Create a folder in the content directory. The folder's name should be the category's slug. In this case, it should be technology (lower case).

Add salaries page

Only use one yaml loader plugin

Currenlty using js-yaml-loader as it has a webpack loader. However, it cannot be used inside nuxt.config.js because it is a loader and requires the webpack initialization.

YAML can help with it, but it doesn't have a loader yet

Implement side drawer scroll snapping

HTML

This has been implemented, but is likely not working because the side drawer (aside) is not 100% wide.

Automate posts injection

The Saber inject posts cannot be used to inject posts into component files. Currently doing this manually

Find a way to reuse styling

Layout of the index page and topic pages (for commands, ranks, ...) are very similar. Merge the styles into one single layout.

Running server-side code in Nuxt's asyncData

The aim is to use only one YAML plugin (remove dependence on js-yaml-loader as it's not being updated).

Need to find a way to run server-sider code for the page generate

Find a way to globally store site metadata such as title (NS Links), description, ...

This will be useful so that we don't have to hardcode page titles with "NS Links" at the end.

Add sources to each page (link buttons)

Can be done my adding a list property in the markdown frontmatter
