The internet-mail application icon is derived from the original Numix-uTouch icon theme, and is not consistent with the rest of the icon theme.

Please update it, thanks!

Seahorse icon

An icon for the application "Passwords and Keys" is missing.

Its respective icon name is "seahorse".

Several inconsistent or missing settings-related icons

See the following screenshot: http://i.imgur.com/LARnfP2.png

Here is a list of the missing icons and their respective file names.

Xfce Settings Manager's application icon is "preferences-desktop". (The current one appears to come from "48/categories" in the base theme; the icon does not appear to be used by GNOME Control Center - could it please be added as an application icon for Xfce?)

"Notifications" - "xfce4-notifyd"
"Panel" - "xfce4-panel"
"Window Manager" - "xfwm4"
"Window Manager Tweaks" - "wmtweaks"
"Workspaces" - "xfce4-workspaces"
"Power Manager" - "xfpm-ac-adapter"
"Session and Startup" - xfce4-session

Edit:
External prefs are:
"IBus Preferences" - "ibus-setup"
"IcedTea-Web Control Panel" - "javaws"

The "normal" themed ones are:
"Appearance" - "preferences-desktop-theme"
"Desktop" - "preferences-desktop-wallpaper"

"Preferred Applications" - "preferences-desktop-default-applications"
"Display" - "video-display"
"Keyboard" - "preferences-desktop-keyboard"
"Mouse and Touchpad" - "preferences-desktop-peripherals"
"Removable Drives and Media" - "drive-removable-media"
"Accessibility" - "preferences-desktop-accessibility"
"MIME Type Editor" - "application-x-executable"
"Session and Startup" - "xfce4-session"

Thunar icon

Hey, could the Thunar icon either be redesigned or symlinked to system-file-manager? The current icon doesn't exactly... fit in with the rest of the icon theme.

Qt4 application icons

Symbolic links for the Qt4 applications "Qt4 Assistant,""Qt4 QDbusViewer," "Qt4 Designer," "Qt4 Linguist," and "Qt4 Config" are missing.

Their respective icon names are "assistant-qt4," "designer-qt4," "linguist-qt4," "qdbusviewer-qt4," and "qt4logo".

Plank icon

An icon for the application "Plank" is missing.

Its respective icon name is "plank".

Missing icons in Cinnamon Linux Mint

There are few important system icons missing, which would complete the look.

I'm using Cinnamon (Loki theme, but icons, controls, borders are Numix). In menu there are two icons missing: Software Manager and Quit. Here is a screenshot: http://i.imgur.com/NbBo9qB.png (Please ignore the square icons, I'm using your new theme, but wasn't able to make a screenshot of a menu, because of a bug. The issue is still the same.)

In software manager there are also one missing: Featured. Screenshot: http://i.imgur.com/JsJOY7g.png

Off topic:
Where is a donation button? I couldn't find it on your website.

Also, can we request icons for programs that we like? I would really like to see Sublime Text 2 to get the icon. It's very popular text editor with programmers.

(g)vim icon

An icon for the application "(g)vim" is missing.

Its respective icon name is "gvim," but it would be appreciated if the icon was called "vim" and the icon for gvim was a symlink to the vim icon.

P.S. Sorry for all the bug reports ;) The icon theme's still amazing and very near complete, percentage-wise :p

Improper restructure

The only icons that are correct are the app icons. Please repair the restructure.

OpenJDK application icons

Icons for the OpenJDK applications "OpenJDK Monitoring & Management Console" and "OpenJDK Policy Tool" are missing.

Their shared icon name is "java".

Geary icon

An icon for the application "Geary" is missing.

Its respective icon name is "geary".

BOINC icon

An icon for the application "BOINC" is missing.

Its respective icon name is "boinc".

Cable (IRC) Icon on elementaryOS

The Cable IRC icon on elementaryOS need to be fixed. Its appear as a black box with question tag icon. here are the screenshot and some inside of its .desktop file.

Software Manager icon missing

Software Manager icon missing, in menu, Cinnamon DE, Linux Mint 15.

Location of the current shortcut settings: /usr/share/applications/Software Manager
Icon that is using is located at: /usr/lib/linuxmint/mintInstall/icon.svg

There are two other icons missing (Quit in menu and Featured in Software Manager) that I posted in previous issue, but I don't know how to help with that. I can't find the settings files like with this one. I think that the quit one uses the icon located at: /usr/share/icons/gnome/48x48/actions/system-shutdown.png

If you tell me how to do it, maybe I could be more helpful. :)

7-Zip FM icon

An icon for the application "7-Zip FM" is missing.

Its respective icon name is "p7zip".

16, 22, 24, 64, and 128-pixel mimetype icons using the wrong icons

This issue is pretty much about what the title says.

I noticed this while using VLC; the icons are incorrect for .mp4 files, at the very least.

(This should be solved by symbolic-linking or copying those icons to all the folders, in particular 16/22/24 pixels.)

Alacarte icon

Wow, I feel like I'm seriously annoying you guys with my icon requests now, heheheh. Onward!

An icon for the application "Main Menu" is missing.

Its respective icon name is "alacarte".

XSane icon

An icon for the application "XSane - Scanning" is missing.

Its respective icon name is "xsane".

Panel audio icons [BASE ICON THEME]

Symbolic links for the panel volume icons are missing. [Edit: THIS IS FOR THE BASE ICON THEME]

The respective icon names are "audio-volume-high," "audio-volume-low," "audio-volume-medium," and "audio-volume-muted".

Edit: these should be linked to the status/ icons which are suffixed with "-panel".

PNMixer icon

An icon for the application "PNMixer" is missing.

Its respective icon name is "pnmixer".

Several inconsistent or missing session-related icons

See the following screenshot: http://i.imgur.com/eKcTErQ.png [Edit: changed slightly using new icon theme, circle+Numix]

The buttons, in consecutive order from left to right are lock, switch user, suspend, hibernate, shut down, restart, and log out.

[Update] the suspend, restart, and hibernate icons are system-suspend, system-restart, and system-hibernate, which should be in the "apps" folder within this icon theme. All other icons are correct.

Network icons (in Xfce vs. GNOME?)

See the following screenshot: http://i.imgur.com/Bvi7XMB.png

It appears the same way when using the GNOME icon theme, and looks rather out-of-place in this theme. (Eh, I preferred the other Numix icon theme's network icons :P ... not 100% sure if it's a bug.)

Edit: It appears that the network manager icons in this theme are identical to the GNOME icon theme. Update, maybe? I'm not sure if this is intentional or not.

Edit 2: this appears to be using these odd, flat icons from status/, but these icons are not seen in the Numix-Round GNOME-Shell 3.10 screenshots for the network icons on your Google+ page. Could these be tweaked, please?

Thanks.

EDIT 3:

It appears to be a mistake. 22-pixel icons exist for it, but not 24-pixel icons. Please copy/etc. the right icons to the right folders. ;)

Feedly Icon

Putting in a request for the Feedly icon.

Simple Scan icon

An icon for the application "Simple Scan" is missing.

Its respective icon name is "scanner".

Proposal: locate the main scanner icon to scanner and symlink "xsane" to it.

Question: design objectives

Currently, the icon theme features a variety of icon styles. Where is this icon theme going - that is, what is its design objective?

Currently, there seem to be several types of icons:

  • (relatively) flat application-colored background with grey/white icon etched on top (e.g. libreoffice-impress)
  • gradient application-colored background with grey/white icon etched on top (e.g. hexchat)
  • (relatively) flat grey/white background with application-colored icon etched on top (e.g. geary)
  • gradient grey/white background with application-colored icon etched on top (e.g. vlc)

Is this variety deliberate, or is it working towards the first one in the list? I've been observing the changes, and it appears that Satya's been doing a lot of work towards making icons similar to those under the first category. (It's also my personal preference ;)
