This is a Project from the University Oviedo. We will design a Robot which can turn of lights in Class rooms. There is a previous Project where we can build on.

Some more Information

The Robot consists of a base rover with Continuous track. Used Components will be:

• DC and AC Motors with Drivers (Movement)

Delete Line after Reading in incomming msg

After the data Recived.
We need to Read the Data.
Filter it.
Read it Line by line.
Read the Tag and send the Data to the Motor or ESP32.
After it was Read we need to Delete the Line we read so we can go to the next Line.

What thinks do we need to log ?

• When there is a new Connection
• change of light from 1 -> 0 or 0 -> 1
• pusher aktiv
• led on/off
• alarm on/off

Filter the Reciving Msg

When a msg comes in it will work with it.
Wright now it only works with one Single Msg.

XML Config File

Check which variables you need

OnConnectionRequest add 2 times

When we have a new conection we always append it to the list. We check but still append the list

SendDataMotor

Test Xml Read, Write, Remove, Append

Test all Functions in Utility for the XML File.

Broadcast for GUI and Mando

write Function for Broadcast the New Data. (New SensorValues and When something Changes on Mando we have it at the "same" time at the GUI.

Webserver to Websocket

Maybe its better to Change from webserver tcp to a Websocket Tcp.

Timer

Start the Timer with the right Interval.

Broadcast / start data for all internal Classes

send data to all the internal classes.
right now this will first be done when a client sends the first data.

log file name

change the logfile name each day.
for one day append the logfile but when new day write new logfile

Date -> Log file name

write now the log file name is like:
Mi. Jan. 18 2023_log_file.txt
but we want
18.01.2023_log_file.txt

Connect Signals and Slots in Main

connect all the Signals and Slots in Main.
Also check which one we need.
Try to name them similar.
Also try to reuse the same Methodes.

How to Save the Data to Xml_file

Problem is when a msg comes in we have to save it some how in the xml_file and also in the internal data.
At the moment we cant change the esp32_top_data for example couse we cant access the data in main.
Maybe if we make the Data stuff globle.
