I've been in contact with the developer of Kaption and I'm planning to integrate his editor in ScreenCloud.

It will be built-in. Plugins can only be used for uploading right now.

This is working great for me on Ubuntu 14.04. Can't wait for the official release.

I've tried compiling master branch, but can't get the upload of screenshots to screencloud.net working. I've compiled it with my oauth key/secret that I get from the site:

cmake ../screencloud -DQT_QMAKE_EXECUTABLE=/usr/bin/qmake-qt4 -DCONSUMER_KEY_SCREENCLOUD=<key> -DCONSUMER_SECRET_SCREENCLOUD=<secret>

But, I'm getting [WARN] "The consumer_key token combination does not exist or is not enabled.". I don't know where that token is coming from because it's not same with the secret I used for compiling.

You might have to log out and log in again when using your own keys.
