Jack and jack midi support?

I like this program, it's easy to work with and it looks modern although simplistic, but it has a problem. I don't know if this is the place to write about it, but it's really difficult to work with midi and JACK. I had to use a2jmidid, which is not a very elegant solution (and even though it's incompatible with jack freewheeling rendering using cadence-render, for example). Could jack midi be implemented?

Lib missing

Hi!

I stumbled upon this error while trying to compile:

Before that I had an honest error ;)

checking for _init in -lgtkmm-2.4... no
configure: error: Essential library libgtkmm-2.4 not found

Those are easy to fix. But googling for alsa flags is harder.

I can't wait to test this beast.
