Add cookie clicker to class 4

This was an awesome in-class example that should go in the Readme for posterity.

Make links to external resources / tutorials for each topic we cover

All the README's formatting is broken :/

Looks like github changed its markdown parser because none of the headers seem to render correctly anymore

Revamp the main readme

We should re-order the main readme as well as introduce the course a bit better to people who may not be Olin students. For example, describe a possible route for going through the course at your own pace.

Class READMEs have inconsistent formatting

The organization of content, resources, assignments, etc. is inconsistent across classes.

Add in-class exercise to class on Agile

This might be fun to break up the lecture. Something comparing the waterfall method to agile.

We ask the class to split into teams, have them design some software-related thing. Simulate changing user requirements, etc. and see how teams with different styles react differently. Not sure what form this would take yet.

Class 9 - Refactoring Description

Its probably worth adding a bit more about refactoring code in terms of how functions/objects/classes interact. The current description makes it sound like its mostly just what files and modules code chunks are placed in.

Class 14 is empty

testing homework and karma

Clarify homework for tests to be more clear about what type of tests we want. Also, we need to update all of the karma information

Unclear instruction in homework 3

Enough people misunderstood where ":" is and is not used in route param /cats/bycolor/:color in the homework 3 assignment that it might warrant a retroactive fix for clarity.

Explain single page apps and why frameworks support them

Class 10 needs more description on why to use frameworks, what they are useful for, etc.

Class 13 is not a Lesson

Make classes work beyond *this* class

"class" -> "lesson"
remove date/time specifics
remove submissions
etc.

Class Folder names are not descriptive

classes subfolder list looks like

• class01
• class02
• class03
• class04

which makes it difficult to navigate from within that folder.

Class 1 homework needs survey link

Class 1 homework should include a link to a survey (which adds its results to a new tab in the homework google doc) asking standard homework questions. See: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1B6YfgxeIQ-QIYIsyb_1IkE7uGLvinXXH4EfO2S0cZyY/viewform

Also, the homework should assign https://github.com/sethvincent/javascripting as well.

Synthesize feedback and reflection

We need to work through our reflections and student feedback and determine the ways in which we can improve the past lessons and assignments to better serve future course offerings and online students.

The link to lesson 2 leads to a broken link

Provide more boilerplate/walkthrough on homeworks

Cat DB: A bit abrupt from lecture to functional app. The homework should provide a walkthrough to ease into the rest of the application.

Burger App: Same as above, plus providing some boilerplate (files, maybe even suggested routes) would ease transition and point people in the right direction. Maybe walk through an Ajax communication too.

Spelling
