incubator balancing

Cloning mobs (instead of the usual feeding/breeding) might be overpowered (requiring so far only power supply and time) and need balancing.

An idea is to elaborate on the "nutrient-rich" liquid, which could have to be re-filled.

Potential nutrients for a "nutrient soup"

• water (for re-filling)
• bone/bonemeal (for calcium skeleton cloning)
• salt (for the water, and also because in most mods it can't easily be crafted automatically)
• mulch (for various nutrients)

Another idea is to "harm" the original mob when nutrients deplete, so as to kill it eventually.

Yet another idea is to have a random chance that the cloned output failed (e.g. getting the drops of the incomplete animal/mob = some meat, etc.)
