Installation

Only works for some Kibana-versions (sorry, I don't have the time to release a new version for every update, but you can choose the closest version and simply adjust the version-number in the package.json))

Manual

(for other versions: e.g. 5.1.0)

Extract the ZIP into a new folder in your kibana/plugins-directory.

Uninstall

Simply delete that folder or use ./bin/kibana-plugin install and restart kibana.

Development

1. Clone or fork the Kibana repository
2. Clone this repo inside the default place for Kibana plugins kibana/plugins/* and run the Kibana-specific commands to setup the project (e.g. yarn kbn bootstrap)

kibana_ext_metrics_vis does not work in kibana 5.2

Hello,
I extracted the zip file in kibana/plugins/newfolder and restarted kibana. But I dont see any changes Create New Visualization page.

Display Options

Does this plugin support any display options such as limit the number of decimal places shown or show a percentage sign after a calculated number? This plugin shows a lot of promise.

What we can use instead of metric[0].value?

Instead of returning single count I want to return it for whole bucket what different thongs I can use instead of metric[0].value

Aggregation by field?

This plugin provides the output of one value (e.g. Total Sum # users) , is it possible to ouput values aggregated by field (e.g. Sum # users on service1, on service2, etc...) ?
