Build

$ docker build --no-cache -f Dockerfile.obp-base -t openbankproject/obp-base .

Run in docker container

$ docker run -d -p 8080:8080                         \
-e "OBP_API_HOSTNAME=http://127.0.0.1:8080"          \
openbankproject/obp-base

Overwriting configuration parameters by environment variables

Any configuration in api/default.props can also be overwritten at container creation by passing an environment variable.

Use the configured prefix (default: OBP_), capitalize all letters and convert all '.' to '_' . E.g.: 'db.url' -> 'OBP_DB_URL'

Errors Logging & Debugging

To view the logs of the running OBP API instance:

1. Exec into the running container: docker exec -it <container-id> /bin/bash this will drop you to a root shell.
2. Tail the jetty log: tail -f /var/log/supervisor/OBP-API-stdout.log
3. There are additional logs in /var/log/supervisor

To find out your container id run sudo docker ps

Can not use Version 3 with latest docker-compose

Hi,

I am trying to run OBP-Docker using docker-compose with latest GIT PULL and then using docker-compose command.

I get following error.

root@74b9da9a0246:/OBP-Docker/compose# docker-compose -v
docker-compose version 1.8.0, build unknown
root@74b9da9a0246:/OBP-Docker/compose# docker-compose up
ERROR: Version in "./docker-compose.yml" is unsupported. You might be seeing this error because you're using the wrong Compose file version. Either specify a version of "2" (or "2.0") and place your service definitions under the services key, or omit the version key and place your service definitions at the root of the file to use version 1.

Looks like, yml files needs to be refactored as per above suggestion.

docker compose reference a missing db directory

when using docker-compose up, am getting the following result

docker-compose up

ERROR: build path /usr/local/OBP-Docker/compose/db either does not exist, is not accessible, or is not a valid URL.

Add monitoring to the OBP -> CBS Kafka queue

Add monitoring to the OBP -> Core Banking System Kafka queue

1. Monitor which OBP API requests are being answered
   (this would help integrators tick off a list of things to do)

2. Montior wait time etc.

I guess there are various tools which might help with the performance side at least. Which ever tool(s) should probably find their way into the docker image: https://hub.docker.com/r/openbankproject/obp-full-kafka/

Missing transaction types

Try to initiate a transaction request, I get this:
status 400 reading ObpApiClient#initiateTransaction(String,String,String,TransactionRequest); content:

obp-full misleading links on webpages

i had run the docker as specified with an external IP to be open in my network instead only locally, but still SOFIT and API Explorer are trying to access 127.0.0.1 for the authserver whenever i click on login.

by far i tried:

$ docker run -d -p 8080-8082:8080-8082 -e "OBP_API_HOSTNAME=http://10.0.0.1:8080" -e "OBP_BASE_URL_API_EXPLORER=http://localhost:8082" -e "OBP_BASE_URL_SOCIAL_FINANCE=http://localhost:8081" -e "OBP_WEBUI_API_EXPLORER_URL=http://localhost:8082" openbankproject/obp-full

$ docker run -d -p 8080-8082:8080-8082 -e "OBP_API_HOSTNAME=http://10.0.0.1:8080" -e "OBP_BASE_URL_API_EXPLORER=http://10.0.0.1:8082" -e "OBP_BASE_URL_SOCIAL_FINANCE=http://10.0.0.1:8081" -e "OBP_WEBUI_API_EXPLORER_URL=http://10.0.0.1:8082" openbankproject/obp-full

trying to login on SOFIT, and API Explorer redirects to:
http://127.0.0.1:8080/oauth/authorize?oauth_token=OJVTER1QSBS3YN1P2VDJ2XVYGXP2OFI3U3APCIY3

i checked the 3 props file under src/main/resources/props/ on each folders and they are updated as specified by ENVVARS after docker initialization, none of them are saying 127.0.0.1 anywhere.

any help?
