I am sorry i have created the issue openrazer/openrazer#397 on the wrong repo, since it is more a website issue than an actual driver issue...so i am linking it here as well.
The instructions for installing openrazer on e.g. Arch Linux, are not complete.
The wiki page refers to the download section of the main site, but there are almost no instructions there.
I would like to add something like the following documentation either to the wiki or to the download site (which would you prefer?):
plugdev
group: sudo usermod -a -G plugdev yourusername
systemctl --user enable openrazer-daemon
(I could only find these steps using the error messages.)
I think these steps were both necessary and sufficient to get the driver running.
Firstly, thanks for this project as a whole, I'm not sure why I hadn't discovered this sooner as I've been looking for a long time for a way to administer settings in Linux for my Razor Products (lol, they've never been touched by Microsoft).
I was wondering if there were plans to link out to the product pages on the Razor Website, which I believe would make checking out products more easily, as I noticed there's a few I wouldn't mind purchasing or upgrading too myself. I guess it's just me being lazy, just thought it would be a handy feature.
I another thought I just had, like with the WINE website they indicate in percentage how complete or how compatible something is, as I assume not all of the hardware works 100%, and that may help user's of your project as to why a feature they are trying to get to work, isn't, as it's not 100% working. It might save someone spending hours, days, or weeks of frustration, when they could simply see that a certain feature is being worked on or not.
Anyway, again, thanks for the project. If there's anyway I can help support or enrich the project (adding the links for e.g.), let me know.
elementary seems to be always based on Ubuntu LTS and a table is available at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elementary_OS#Summary_table . But probably the add-apt-repository thing should just work(tm)?
The "and more" link in the applications section of the site, just opens the same page on a new tab;
target="_blank"
should be ommited.applications
, nor any anchor by that name, so it just opens the top of the page. I'm guessing you wanted to point here?A declarative, efficient, and flexible JavaScript library for building user interfaces.
