openseesdocumentation's Issues

Technichal problem

Hi,

Some pages on local machines works correctly But They do not work properly on the OpenSees GitHub pages. For example, if you take a look to This page you won't see the figure! and will see the following:
image

While on my local machine it is shown as the following:
image

Here is the related rst page on GitHub and if you take a look to this page on GitHub, you will see that the figure is showing correctly!

Also, We have added DRM and it is also defined in Pattern rst file But it does not exist in the Content list:

Updating of the html documentation

Hi @fmckenna. What is the procedure to update the html visible from the github pages? I've pushed .rst files, but have avoided making changes into the docs as requested in the readme.

Is there a hook that didn't get activated? Or do you personally do it manually?

Contributing guidelines

Hi there,

Is this going to be the new source for OpenSees documentation going forward (ie replacing the wiki)? If so, will you be accepting pull requests for this repository?

stressStrain recorder output is blank

Hi,
I used a custom script to record the fiber stress-strain results for a zero-length section element like:
"recorder Element -file Stress-Strain.txt –time -ele 35 section 26 fiber 13.5 0.0 11 stressStrain".

However, it didn't work and the Stress-Strain.txt was blank.

I also tried with
"recorder Element -file Stress-Strain.txt –time -ele 35 section fiber 13.5 0.0 11 stressStrain"
and "recorder Element -file Stress-Strain.txt –time -ele 35 section fiber 13.5 0.0 stressStrain"
and "recorder Element -file Stress-Strain.txt -ele 35 section 26 fiber 13.5 0.0 11 stressStrain".

All the efforts were in vain.

Anybody help?

Parameters of ExpressNewton command

Hello,
I see an ExpressNewton command on OpenSeesPy's Change log, but there is no corresponding invocation description in the documentation.
How can this command be parameterized, or is there an example of how to invoke it?
