A number of cities on a map is limited to 100

Hi,

I added my city to this spreadsheet, but the city doesn't show on http://apps.openspending.org/maps/. I found that the size of cities on a map seems to limited to 100.

Is this behavior as per spec?

A drill down menu for apps.openspending.org/maps

Moved from openspending/openspending#676

The drill down menu would include the following categories in the googledoc backend:

• city: cities added to OS
• national: national datasets added to OS
• community groups: community members or spending transparency groups from the "mapping the money" map.

This would enable OS to have one map for a lot of different activities, while still enabling volunteers to assist populating and maintaining the backend easily.

Maps not correctly loaded on Chrome

When you use Chrome, maps cannot be loaded. It keeps showing "Loading data...".

It is because Chrome's MIME type strict checking is enabled by default and raw.github.com sets JavaScript's MIME type text/plain, which caused JS loading error.

To fix this issue, use rawgithub.com instead of raw.github.com.

More specifically, change following line in index.html

current: <script src="https://raw.github.com/Recline/backend.gdocs/master/backend.gdocs.js">

to fix: <sscript src="https://rawgithub.com/Recline/backend.gdocs/master/backend.gdocs.js">
