As you can see in the below Screenshot, the image of the maintainer on the About Us page is not visible, I realized that the URL from which it is fetching image does not exist.

Adding Active Projects (Multiple contributors required)

Here's a quick suggestion if you want to contribute to Opentek by adding ACTIVE and MAINTAINED projects.
This is how you can do it:

Go to various Open Source programs websites like (GSSOC, SWOC, LGMSOC) and go to their project section, you can find a variety of Open Source projects around all the domains.
Go to the repo and check if it is maintained i.e: if the last commit is in < 2 months. If Yes, go ahead and put it in the projects section with proper credits to the ADMIN and a one-liner about the PROJECT.
This can help you begin your Open Source journey. If anyone is up for this do let me know here.

FEATURE: Adding hover effect

While looking for quick links we always hover over the options. In this project, there is no same hover effect on all options.

Just like the hover effect of other options like "About us" and "Projects", these effects can be applied to the "Event" and "program" options that are present in the quick links section.

Show Login/Signup form when user clicks on Events/Programs

Right now, if the user clicks on Tune In/Participate, nothing happens if the user is not logged in because the cursor-event is set to none.

Instead of setting cursor-event: none, login/signup form can be displayed when the user clicks on Tune In/Participate.

Keep Logout button once a user has logged in

The Log Out button is unnecessary on Home Screen, if a user hasn't already logged in

Show Log Out option only when the user has signed up/ logged in

[Mobile] Navbar Styling

On clicking the hamburger icon the X icon should appear, also a little border-radius around the dropdown would look neat.

For the time being, I have added SVG from undraw but that doesn't really look great on the homepage!
The task is to find good and free resources that we can use to make the homepage look more attractive.

Pros:

The user is working on something on the page, that might be lost if the current page changed.
The user will leave the page less frequently.

Solution
Adding a target attribute with value of blank to all the links on index page.

Suggesting correct use of grammar in description of OpenTek.

In this image, the last sentence can be improved by better use of relative pronouns as well as subject-verb agreement.
"Long term goal is to build a community who truly believe in Open Source and building in public." should be replaced by
