Windows defender is also flagging JtR binaries as containing Trojan:Win32/Zpevdo.B
Other projects have the same problem. I found people saying it is because "the binary is not signed".
The image says: blocked, removed, quarantine, serious threat, in Jan 09:

it is because "the binary is not signed".
We can fix it using code signing certificates, Azure Key Vault and adding all of this to the Azure DevOps pipeline. It has an annual cost and seems to be beyond the scope of an OSS.
Using https://about.signpath.io/ test certificates (not signed by commercial CA) we are not going to fix the real problem.
