This add-on eliminates the problem of Device or resource busy on computers with an external ALSA and PULSEAUDIO caused by the docker container hassio_audio.

Failed to install addon

Thank you for creating this really useful piece of software!
But, with HA 2021.2.1 I get the following message:

Failed to install addon
The command '/bin/bash -o pipefail -c apk add --no-cache alsa-plugins-pulse alsa-utils pulseaudio-utils python3' returned a non-zero code: 4

Screen flickering

i just install the addon and irt works, the sound is back but just when a get the sound back, the screen is flickering randomly

what is the dev version

which version should I use with Debian 11? Why the two versions?

Addon Is Working, I just didn't know it.

I have HA Supervised running on a Raspberry Pi4 and the addon is not working for me.

Addon log as per below:

Pulseaudio is still running as per below:

$ ps aux | grep pulse

If I kill the two processes they both restart again.

Can you please assist with this?

Addon not starting

I cannot start addon, tired in Portainer as well and no luck.

This is the error I am getting:
s6-overlay-suexec: fatal: can only run as pid 1

Error while installing

When trying to install the addon get this error code:

HA versions:
Home Assistant 2022.7.2
Supervisor 2022.07.0
Frontend 20220707.0 - latest

It works but for example in Kodi changes the pitch of sound, image stutters

Unfortunatelly, when I start a movie in kodi, pulse switch a bitrate probably which causes the sound pitch shift and image stutter - eventhugh the resampling is disabled and bitrate fixed in /etc/pulse/daemon.conf

Any idea how to fix that pls?

Error when starting module

Hello, I get this error when starting the module:

400 Client Error for http+docker://localhost/v1.38/containers/e5995588e5c493324bca0da8cf11cf170c3c61aa776e720834c70ec1009e1318/start: Bad Request ("OCI runtime create failed: container_linux.go:348: starting container process caused "exec: "/dev/init": stat /dev/init: no such file or directory": unknown")

Fix not working

Hi, I'm trying to install the ALSA PulseAudio fix but the standard version doesn't work. When I click install, it loads and returns to the install button. So I tried the DEV version, it installs and it works, but after some hours running, it continuously activate and deactivate audio output, so the result is that when I listen to music it blocks or stops randomly or totally crash.

Can you please check it?
