Top Level Menu not repeating pages on sub menus

When using wagtailmenus, and specifying that top level pages should also appear in their sub menus (so that they can actually be clicked on!), those pages are not appearing.

In fact, the only thing appearing in the top navbar menu is exactly what is selected in the Main Menu choices, and their sub-pages only.

Multi-page needs a sub (flat?) menu sidebar

When a page has subpages, a default sidebar menu needs to be added that indexes these for access.

Need a login/logout/user-menu added to site

Likely an addition to the Navbar, but a quick way to do login/logout/changepassword stuff.

Update codebase to Django 2.0 compatibility

Currently breaks when trying to use Django 2.0, needs investigation as to why.

Image (or Document) Upload results in an ISE

For reasons that can't be quickly determined (nothing obvious in either the gunicorn or nginx logs) file uploads are resulting in http status 500 returns, and failing to upload. The obvious answer would be permissions, but the relevant user accounts has write access to the media folder via group access.

More frustrating is the lack of intelligible log results to make sense of. NGinx's debug statements in the error log are overkill yet give no discernible reason for the 500 response, and gunicorn doesn't even acknowledge an error, just an access. Given there's at least one image already uploaded, I'm wondering how I got that there, and if anything has somehow changed to stop that from working.

How can images be suitably resized for display/inclusion?

Image Blocks themselves seem too vague to be truly useful - do they need responsive formatting? Or some means of controlling their sizing?

What happens with images embedded in the RichText blocks either?

Publications Block needs custom template writing

There's presently no set formatting for the Publications Blocks
