Satella Jailed

Free in-app purchases for jailed devices on iOS 12-16

Satella Jailed is provided for educational purposes only and I am not responsible for any illegal actions taken with the use of this tool. No copyright material is distributed on this repo. Lawyer with a DMCA can stick it up their ass.

Installation

There are currently three official methods of installing Satella Jailed, but it should work with other patching tools.

Script (Computer Required)

1. Run git clone https://github.com/Paisseon/SatellaJailed.git && cd SatellaJailed in terminal
2. Move the IPA file to the resultant SatellaJailed folder
3. sh patch-mac.sh for macOS or sh patch-linux.sh for Linux and WSL
4. Sideload the patched IPA to your jailed device

Azula (Mac or On-Device)

If you use TrollStore, make sure that the URL scheme is enabled, and turn on code signature slicing. Or just jailbreak with Dopamine and use the tweak version 🙃

1. Download SatellaJailed.dylib from this repo
2. Move SatellaJailed.dylib and the target IPA to the Azula folder in files app
3. Select them in Azula
4. Tap the Patch button

Esign (On-Device)

1. Download SatellaJailed.dylib from this repo
2. In Signature -> More Settings, import SatellaJailed.dylib
3. Make sure to use “@executable_path” and “Frameworks”
4. Sign and install the patched IPA

Usage

Just attempt to make a purchase, then cancel the confirmation popup (the one with your Apple ID on it) so you don't pay.

By default, core functionality is enabled. If it doesn't work, and you are on iOS 15+, you can try enabling advanced features by tapping the purple star.

Please note that Satella Jailed doesn’t work on every app. If various combinations of settings fail to crack the purchase, you’re out of luck.

satellajailed's Issues

SatellaJailed does not work with Top Widgets

For some reason when I try to purchase VIP it will be stuck infinitely loading until I disable SatellaJailed. If I disable SatellaJailed then the payment prompt will show but won't activate since SatellaJailed is disabled.

I used ESign to sideload the app with my own certificate and enabled document browser so I can see the files it creates but can't tell what's causing it to not work.

Because I signed it with my own cert, I can't share the IPA publicly here. Do you have a email or whatever you use so I can send you the IPA and you can take a look? Thanks!

Create New .dylib

How can i create new .dylib file? i tried several ways, can it be done from XCode or i have to use terminal?

Can't compile by myself

Jinx is missing on makefile.

When trying to install jinx to Theos, "Extract and run python3 install_jinx.py" - install_jinx.py is missing

Can't access Satella menu from jailed app

Hi, I am using an iPhone 7+ on iOS 14.0.1. I have used patch.sh to inject Satella into an app, which was successful.

I used Trollstore to sideload the app, but I'm unable to complete any purchases or open the menu inside of the app.

Apps crashes instantly with EXC_BAD_ACCESS

I have tried several apps, but the majority crash instantly after being opened. I tried everything I came up with to no avail, both with the manual method using Sideloadly, and the AppDB method yields the same results.

Azule installation Path

I only have a problem with the installation path of azure, I don't think that the home folder is a good directory.
Why won't you install it to "usr/local/bin/azule" ?

Virtual Payment popup does not show up

Hey! I just wanna say how much I appreciate all of the hard work you've put into both Satella 2 and Satella Jailed. I have tried to get this to work for several apps, like Plex, but have been unable.

Signing the app using my udid registration service says give me the popup says I am unable to use InApp purchases for my account, after giving me the option to pay virtually. I decided to sign the app through my normal apple id, and the menu to pay virtually does not show up at all.

The sandbox menu shows up in the App Store settings, so I have no idea.

Hidden preferences menu

Some games and applications where two fingers are used are uncomfortable to use because satella settings are recalled. Could you add an option so that the user can disable the recall of settings by holding down two fingers?

any way to hide floating icon?

i know there was the tap method before, but i didn't see any way to do it with the new floating icon. it would seem pointless to have the icon always visible since iAPs are usually one and done event (or semi-active for in-game currency). also it can be bothersome in an active app like drawing or gaming.

edit: i see through the source that there's supposed to be a pop-up when you push apply, but i'm not getting the pop-up. ill do some more testing...

edit2: after hitting apply, satella menu is just unresponsive and have to force close app. i'm guessing the menu just isn't popping up so it's waiting for a response from the menu...

i'm using latest dylib, provided orion w/o emily. i tried with provided cydia framework or sideloadly cydia framework. still same.

tested on ipad ios 15.4.1 on infinite painter through sideloadly and e-signing

edit: tried on iphone ios 14.3 and the menu pops up. so it's either ios 15 or iPad issue...

edit: figured out the problem. seems it's a ipad issue. the pop-up isn't centered.
in portrait it appears off screen. in landscape it appears off centered to the right. this is on a ipad mini so it may not be applicable to bigger ipads.

For some reason, possibly due to an update to Azule, the flag -H breaks the command syntax even though it complies with its own documentation on the arguments to pass. Removing the flag makes it work again.

App crashes upon opening preferences on ios 15.1.1

I was trying satella on a few different games, and I was successfully able to inject multiple apps with satella, and one of them actually did work, giving me free currency. However, besides one, none of them worked.

I would like to be able to access to preferences to try different settings before giving up. It makes sense that the default settings wouldn't work for every app, but I cant even access them, so theres no way to check or try anything else.

You should be able to inject orion and the dylib with the same azule command

Title says it all, you can just do one azule command instead of 2. It should look smth like 'azule ... -f [orion] [dylib]. Will make the thing run quite a bit faster

NOTE : Iam using WSL Linux (Ubuntu) on Windows 10

[Bug] Error: Couldn't find .ipa file

When I try to run sh patch.sh on WSL Kali-Linux, I get this error. The workaround is to enter sh patch.sh -i [IPA file name] but is there a way to make it run with just sh patch.sh?

App crashes on IOS 16

I tried to inject SatellaJailed into few apps using patch.sh and using ESign. Both ends with a crash when trying to launch the installed app. I also have builded Orion for swift-5.7 and tried to patch with new Orion.framework but result is same. I also think about CydiaSubstrate as a problem but I'm not sure.

Jailbreak satella works/jailed satella crashes

I tested out satella on my jailbroken iPhone and it works great with the nfl app thought I would try satellajailed with same app decrypted it opens fine but it always crashes when I try to set up iap

Does this work for subscriptions eg I am trying to crack an app called "IPCams" and it is giving me a "invalid receipt" error. I have enabled receipt within the satella menu. Also what does the 3 finger gesture mean?

I tried this on real racing 3 and in the process of setting up the game it started crashing but everything works fine after disabling the tweak, i need the tweak to get in-app purchase😘😘 ok after a few more tries it seems to start working but i cant purchase anything

I'm using SatellaJailed on iOS 15.2 (iPhone SE 2020). It works on certain apps except only once or a few times before purchases start failing for a specific app. I've tried re-installing the app, though that doesn't solve the issue. My guess is that there's some receipt data somewhere that's not related to the application itself. Some research suggests lbrestart fixes it, but don't think that's possible to use on jailed as root access is required. However I was wondering if there was a solution around fixing this? I do have access to Filza (except sensitive root files).

I would also like to know what does receipt, observer, and inject functions does as I cannot find much information regarding it. I can guess receipt fakes the purchases being valid, but wonder if this is the main issue?

Satella on jailbroken phone works. but on the same app side loaded on a jailed phone it doos not work

I'm using the latest version and I can access the Satella menu in the app on my jailed iPhone. but the iap is not working.
while Satella is working with the same app on my jailbroken iPhone. is this a know issue that happens to other apps or?
