Possibly related to WaterfallMC/Waterfall-Old#23
Basically someone sends a ping packet without the previous handshake packet.

Same IP, hmm. Probably from a server listing site, i.e. minecraftforums server list?

Check whether they get your player count or not and you got your answer.

Shouldn't some prevention or exception catch be added to prevent unexpected pings from various server listing sites though? As normal pings to Spigot/Paper directly don't output an exception.
