Add a scroll to top shortcut !

Currently , there is no scroll to top shortcut . Add it on the above page

Add a Contributing.md file

Currently , there is no contributing.md file in the repo

Open image in a new tab

Open the image (that appears on image route with id) in a new tab for hd version.

UI(go back button)

The UI of the go back button can be made similar to the launch button and we can use an arrow instead of a rocket.

Format the date !

When the user clicks on a specific image , it takes to a detailed info page wherein the date is not shown in a parsed manner.(Refer the highlighted part on the image given above)

Show the date as Date Month , Year (Eg: 6 October 2021 ).

Open Image of day in a new tab

To enhance user experience, I think the image of the day, when clicked, should be opened in a new tab.

Show a placeholder when no images are returned

Currently, nothing is shown when the API does not return anything . Show some animated gif or an animated image saying that No images were found for that search term.

If the image or the gif would be related to space, it would be awesome.

Show a loading indicator when the images are loading .
