Meramap
=======
This will be a a one complete package , That will automatically install all the packages with Install Script required to set up own customised server which will update automatically with sync. of OpenStreetMap data for an area specified by implementor, It will also suggest him/her and will also give a option to choose default options i.e weekly bases , with easy user interface and browser based customisation of Map Style, adding of Icons, local language and additional search feature.

MeraMap Debian package is reqady to install on your systems. Follow the instructions given below to install the complete package.
Note: This is complete debian package which includes both installation files and world_boundaries which are required for the Installation of MeraMap Sample Map.
If you want to insltall them separately procedure for them is given below these.

For Ubuntu 10.04 and 10.10

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get -q 2 upgrade
sudo dpkg -i meramap.deb
sudo apt-get -f -q 2 install



For Ubuntu 11.04:

wget http://202.164.53.116/~parveen/meramap_final/meramap11.deb
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get -q 2 upgrade
sudo dpkg -i meramap11.deb
sudo apt-get -f -q 2 install



If you have already Installed MeraMap or wants to install Installation Package and Shape Files (World Boundaries) you should follow the procedure as follows:

First of all to install the shapefiles on 32 bit system:
http://202.164.53.116/~parveen/meramap_final/world_bondaries.deb    (400MB)

Install MeraMap:

https://github.com/ParveenArora/MeraMap/raw/master/meramap_final/meramap.deb
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get -q 2 upgrade
sudo dpkg -i meramap.deb
sudo apt-get -f -q 2 install


You can also create your our devlopment debian package, by the following method:

1. Move to the MeraMap github directory:
cd MeraMap/meramap_final

2. Then Make the debian package from the following command:
dpkg --build meramap

Be sure that meramap directory is present there, then it will build meramap.deb


Customisation Package is ready with features of selection of Map generation area through web browser and to select zoom levels of which user wants to generate the map.

After the selection is done you may need to run the customisation's final script by yourself.

Meramap-api
===========
Meramap-api is a similar package to install an OSM API server (aka 'The Rails Port').
