Echo off and crash

When I run the program it crashes after 5 seconds. Also the echo off statement is showing when the program is open. Could this be due to non ASCII present in other echo statments below possibly?

If you like, you can expand your language detection with the part for a German OS:

echo off and application crash.

when i load up the file file it tells instructions and than executes after about 5 seconds, also i noted that the first line of the code "echo off" is present when the application runs. could this might be due to some non ASCII characters present in the code
maybe?

thanks for this batch.
Your script works only with password that does not contain special characters such as $*÷” etc. Is there any way to provide compatibility with these special characters?
It also works on Windows 10.

Change MAC address error

I'm getting "The syntax of the command is incorrect." error http://i.imgur.com/knRPFoy.jpg on Windows 7 SP1 (64bit).

Hi,
here I'm again with an issue on the array-2d.bat script that I downloaded from the Github.com/PassingTheKnowledge repository.

This remark of mine is certainly trivial, but I can't help remarking that on line 3 of the script past the setlocal statement the enabledelayedexpansion syntax should be there.
Otherwise the two-level expansion syntax at row 16 wouldn't work as expected.

"Old MAC address:" shows "__NewMAC" message instead of current MAC address

Hi. I'm using Windows 7 SP1 (64 bit) with 1 Realtek ethernet adapter and 1 VPN (Softether) adapter. On both of them your script shows "__NewMAC" message instead of current MAC address.
