Python setup for Pairing Exercise

Pre-requisites

Please make sure you have the following installed and can run them

  • Docker Desktop
  • Visual Studio Code

Build Docker image

  1. Ensure that your Docker Desktop is up-to-date
  2. Restart Docker Desktop
  3. From the root of this repo, run docker build -t "tw-dataengineer-python" .

Install Remote Container extension for Visual Studio Code

  1. In VS Code's top menu: View > Extensions, install the following Extension on VS Code: Remote - Containers (author: Microsoft)
