cims's Issues

Remove todo comments in code

Todos are being replaced with issues in github. todos should be temporary for yourself only, they will not be accepted in any pull request from now on.

Src restructuring

Put com_ files in a folder named Components, create a Controller folder for any future con_ files. Rewrite references to files to work with that change.

OptionsPanel structuring and logic

This one is a relatively easy issue, but it needs to display on the right side, about a quarter of the screen, it displays user/system options, uses a hideaway animation, and should be able to be triggered through the click of a settings button on the navbar.

Application error correction in main app state switch statement.

Located in app.js, in the main app state switch section there is a default statement, that needs to be programmed to notify the server, check application variables to see if they're being tampered with, correct the application, or reload if necessary.

Production Build Checklist

Take this comment out of app.js and put it into the wiki or contributing file.

Running application state logic for app.js

Check for errors that you may need to push to the server for logging, make sure application logic is within thresholds (for instance, make sure the user didn't suddenly change, check for updated authentication tokens, etc)

settings.json creation

Create a settings.json that contains environment settings such as server URL.

Readme Enhancement

Create a project specific readme to describe the project, lay out how to contribute, and link to supporting or supplemental repositories.

Core structuring and logic.

This is the main display that contains all of the applications main UI, this is where the user will interact with the app. This is a major undertaking as it will require the most UI design, development, and system integration, but for this issue, we want to focus on creating the main structure for how this system will work. The "window management" system which will allow us to create windows and display them as they are called.

Contributing file

Write out the contributing file to show people how to contribute to the project.

Create not supported page

Create the page that tells the user their system is not supported. There is a section labeled "No localstorage" in app.js where the system needs to redirect to that page, also incorporate that.

Create authentication logic in AJAX done section of auth in app.js

Review the information to make sure the user is authenticated to use the website, then load the users information.

Closing App state logic (Auto Saving, etc)

Check if anything needs to be pushed to the server, for instance work that the user did that hasn't been saved.
