aws-lambda-libso-dependencies's Issues

Getting Access to Devices

@pbodsk
Hey Peter,

Thank you for taking the time to help! Googling around, I haven't found anyone else trying to do this with Lambdas, so it was starting to feel pretty lonely ๐Ÿ˜„

I was able to get my layer working with portaudio (I included pyaudio, too) and am able to import it in my Lambda script. In my case, I'm running the Lambda on a Raspberry Pi through AWS IoT Greengrass. After overcoming the portaudio layer issues, I ran straight into another problem - Pyaudio running in the Lambda can't "see" the USB microphone I have plugged in to the Pi. I know it's a long shot, but by any chance, have you had any experience accessing hardware audio devices from your Lambda?

James
