No Brakes in switch statement

I am wondering why there are no breaks in the switch.
Doing so this will cause a cascade search firing all the other events.

Is there any reason for this, of I am seeing this wrong.

Thank you for this great script! Quick question: searchArrayValueByKey is great but what happens when you search for an array that is present several times like "id"? Can I pick the one I need?
