Regarding plotting complex CSI values as Empirical pdf

Hello,
mine master level project is also CSI based localisation,
I have installed the required software environment, and receiving CSI information for my test environment.

For localisation i'm following research paper "Spot Localisation using PHY layer information" ---> http://research.microsoft.com/apps/pubs/default.aspx?id=160806

All is fine but, i have trouble in making matlab code for individual sub carrier cluster and their Empirical pdf. As CSI is complex value how to plot its epdf as explained in paper.

the attached image shows the sub-carrier level cluster for a single location and their Epdf.

If i plot Ima Vs real for CSI then the result is like as shown below.

I'm sure i am doing something wrong or not getting the exact logic.

It will be a great help if you direct me toward solving this problem
